Three corridors and twelve laboratories / rooms were remodelled and refurbished in this 15 week project. 

The works involved stripping out all the old fixtures and fittings along with the removal of the existing laboratory furniture.  This was followed by the modifications and upgrade to existing mechanical and electrical services, including drainage diversions and the installation of new air conditioning systems.  Internal finishes completed the project.

As always when working for the University of Leeds circulation routes were in constant use by students and staff.  It was vital that all emergency exits, walkways and access routes, etc., to other buildings, roads, pathways and open spaces were free from obstructions and safe for use by all.
